Successful event on Diagnostics start-ups and start-up support
In a combined effort to promote innovation in diagnostics, Swissbiolabs and Baselarea.swiss hosted a special event last week focusing on diagnostics start-ups and start-up support, during which our client Resistell gave valuable insights on how to become a successful MedTech start-up.

Effectum Medical and Diabetes Center Berne (DCB) enter into co-operation
Effectum Medical is proud to announce the start of a new co-operation with Diabetes Centre Berne (DCB) as of November 1, 2018. DCB is currently being established in sitem-insel’s new building on the Inselspital-campus and will be home to the research and development for new solutions and therapeutic approaches in diabetes.
The overarching purpose of the DCB’s endeavor is to simplify and improve the therapy of diabetes mellitus and – as part of our co-operation – will offer access to Effectum Medical’s quality management system.

Partner of Swiss Diagnostics Start-Up Day 2018
The 2nd Swiss Diagnostics Start-up Day took place on June 21, 2018 in Olten (Switzerland). Effectum Medical was one of its key partners. During the event our CEO Karina Candrian presented Effectum Medical and its offering.

Effectum Medical is certified according to ISO 13485:2016
We did it! Effectum Medical is certified according to ISO 13485:2016. This is also good news for innovators or start-ups. By collaborating with Effectum Medical they profit, amongst other, from our QMS according to ISO standards. They benefit from lower costs and less time consuming efforts for quality management, so they can focus on more value creating activities, such as product and business development.
